When it comes to the characters, everyone is a mix of multiple people and no one is a 1-to-1 comparison of my family members.

Yes and no, the locations are based off Cedar Point State Park (not the roller coaster one) and Clayton, NY with the names changed.

Nope! All nine books take place at the same time, often overlapping or with small nods to each other in the stories.
